my u lock key is being finicky and there is a chance that it may get stuck.
im worried that my bike will be locked up when that happens.
if i have to get through my u lock to get my bike back, any saws or machinery that i should be using?
would a regular hack saw work or would that take too long.

what kind of U-Lock? From some stories I've read a hacksaw will be an endless effort and you may just need to get in there with a cutting disk

some jackass u-locked a bike in my backyard for several weeks.
he finally showed up with a grinder and ground the lock open in about 15 minutes.

Your ULock key has a number on it. Order a new one.

You can smash a window to get into your own house too. What's so hard about ordering a new key? They're 6 bucks ferchisssakes.

A circular saw with a ceramic blade makes quick work of it.
Or: buy a new lock before you get stuck.
Cheap knock off brand u locks more than likely have cheap ass lock cylinder that will fail upon daily use. You git what you pay for.

A bike thief told me to take a car jack from some 3 cylinder import that is small enough to fit inside the 'u' of the lock and then jack it up
