Anyone on the West side interested in going out to Kingdom Come parade and festival? It starts at MLK Blvd and Crenshaw and makes its way to Crenshaw and Western.
I have been to the festival in previous years and it is always a great time, but this year, on the eve of Obama's inauguration is there really any place you would rather be than celebrating Dr. King's vision? (And saying goodbye to 8 years of Bush's myopia?)
I'm around National and Venice and will be leaving around 11 or so, maybe later if there is enough interest. The festival raps up at 4 PM.
I have no set route, there are a few ways that we could go, though I'm leaning towards Jefferson to Crenshaw.
Post here if you are interested, and BRING YOUR MOTHERFUCKING HOPE!

Yeah, I realized I forgot to put in any date information...
But I'll be on the lookout for other ridazz, doesn't seem like anyone else from the West side is going out there, but its their loss! I'm bouncing around 11, and from what I am hearing on KPCC this is gonna be really packed and really fun.
