^^^^^^^ at larsenf
just go to Los Angeles County-USC Medical Center
i got stitches there once and was in a situation where i couldnt pay. so i told the lady at the counter while checking in and she said it was fine and gave all this paper work to fill out so i wouldnt have to pay for a thing. If your a student even better because they help you out even more.

Too many broken bones lately. The ghosts from that hospital are trying to bring us back.
Seriously, get treated and get better, Larsen and Syoma.

Me and Meaghan stayed with you. Seriously dude, go get that looked at and you are VERY FUCKING LUCKY that you didn't die. When you go to sleep and you have a concussion that is very likely.
TOO MANY INJURIES on crank mob last night. I personally sat with 2 people who had concussions.
One was a girl named CAT who was really really fucked up and when the ambulance came she got so belligerant that they would not take her.
While it's good to have ridazz that can trouble shoot and take care of other people, we can't babysit everyone.
Manage your partying better! Wait until after the ride!

Disclaimer: The following is from
yelp
Ask them if they treat fractures and if they don't if they have someone to suggest. You'll need a consultation, an x-ray and perhaps a cast. IMHO paying a bit of money is a lot better than schlepping all the way to USC and waiting for 8 hours to see a doctor.
Let me know if you need a ride or other assistance. Click on the link in my profile to see my tel number

Larsen- Which wrist was it? I still have my brace from when I broke my left wrist.
I would suggest seeing a doctor and getting your xray and cast, and just paying for that up front. (My orthopedist charged $450 for that first visit)
Once you have the cast, just leave it on for 2 months, you can even have a friend you really trust cut it off instead of paying for that doctor visit. And then I can give you my brace and you wear that for another month or two.
...Don't go to the E.R. Those visits are bullshit- County tried to charge me $600 for the privilege of sitting in their waiting room for 8 hours (without seeing a doctor). And the private hospital I was taken to right after the accident charged $3200 for the one visit, which only resulted in me getting a referral to an orthopedist.

ooooh man. I had no idea either of these accidents happened. I'm sorry to hear this guys.
Larsen, keep that shit on ice and in an ace bandage (or something else to support it) until you can get to a doctor.
Syoma, I hope the rabbit therapy helps and that you have a speedy recovery. I was glad to see you out riding and recovered from your last crash so I'm bummed to hear that you got hurt again.

GO TO ANY HOSPITAL EMERGENCY ROOM.
CALIFORNIA STATE LAW REQUIRES THEY TREAT YOU REGARDLESS OF INSURANCE STATUS.
WORRY ABOUT THE BILL LATER
THE WORST THAT WILL HAPPEN IS A DING ON YOUR CREDIT SCORE.
GET IT FIXED OR IT WILL HANDICAP YOU THE REST OF YOUR LIFE !

+1 on the helmets.
They only look dorky if you wear them when you're not anywhere near your bike.
Also, health insurance may be affordable for some of you, Kaiser and Blue Cross / Blue Shield have some pretty decent deals for younger people.
Seriously though, wear a helmet.

Waiting in the ER. Been here over 3 at least I'm a real cyclist now, wrist and collarbone injuries FTW!

Been here 5 hours and I'm super bored. They just gave me some vicoden and took some xrays. If nothing is broken I get to go home. If it is I'm 5 hours into a 12+ hour wait. Some entertain me on aim: feedurheadhesaid

I suppose the waiting is much more tolerable with a connection to the interwebs.

When waiting, I have learned to ingrain the Kelis song, "Bossy" into my head.
So if my iPod runs low, I'll just bob my head to that.

Here's some tough love for you guys:
Keep your eyes on the road. By this I mean the whole road including the Tarmac in front of you. Use your peripheral vision.
Second, tune your bikes. If you're riding fixed tighten your chain. If it's loose it will fall off during turns or big bumps. Chains may get caught and can cause you to flip.
You're lucky you guys didn't die, but next time you may not be so lucky.

What the fuck.
The thing I hate most about people getting hurt is that I can't even help them. I hope everyone heals up well. Fuck, this is terrible.
