also im a cheap basterd and i dont want to spend money got any suggestions?

pedros dry lube ftw. you don't need anything super greasy in dry old los angeles.

Any household vegetable oil - soy, corn, olive, etc.
Works fine, it's cheap (especially if you already have it), and it's 100% petroleum free.

My lifetime fav so far is Tri Flow. Get it from any bike shop. One small bottle will last for a year or two, depending on how many bikes you have to maintain.
I hated every other chain lube I ever used.

Tri Flow is my favorite for general parts but should NOT be used on chains. It doesn't flow smoothly enough for high-speed applications.
I love
Rock n' Roll Gold Lube: King of Lubes for my chain. It is teflon based, and doesn't get messy. I have never had any issues or crazy wax buildup.

Try using some of your anal lube Jabier.
I used some of it on my bike the last time i was over at your house and it worked like a charm, Just as long as its not the water based one with the strawberry cent, use the banana-coconut scented one, the one that warms when you blow on it, you know which one im talking about? the big bottle with the brown label? The one that says Coconut-Banana anal lube. the one by your bed.

my favorite stuff is boeshield t-9. the only downside is that it takes two or three hours to work. youre supposed to let it soak into the rollers of the chain, sort of like how the factory lube on a brand new never used chain is. i mean, you dont have to wait that long, but i do. it makes my bike make no noise whatsoever.

if you warm up your bike properly, with kisses and massages in all the right places, it will lubricate itself. problem solved.

BEST WAY TO CLEAN A CHAIN, DUNK THE WHOLE CHAIN INTO TURPENTINE, THEN LIGHT THAT SHIT ON FIRE, MAKES A NICE SHOW TO.
