Mountain Biking in Santa Barbara

I don't want to just announce a ride cause I don't have a car to get there, but I really want to go mountain biking in Santa Barbara some weekend. My first truly offroad mountain biking happened in the SB backcountry and I'd really like to get back out there. There was a time when I knew every trail in the area like the back of my hand, and while I'm sure things have changed, I bet I can put together a nice offroad route or 2. Anyone up for making a weekend of it?
1. leave early Saturday morning
2. Ride up fireroad
3. Ride down amazing singletrack
4. drive to campground at hotsprings
5. Eat delicious camping food
6. drinks, while sitting in hot springs
7. sleep
8. ride up fire road
9. ride down more amazing singletrack
10. lunch at cold springs tavern accompanied by live blues
11. drive home
Everything in SB involves a fair bit of climbing, but I can at least tailor the length of the climbs and difficulty of the descents to folks' preferences.
So register your interest here, and if the consensus is that it is a good idea, I'll post up a ride.

I was thinking Little Pine (Santa Cruz trail) for sure, and then either Snyder trail down from Knapp's Castle if we want a shorter ride or the single track down from the top of Angostura fire road, whose name escapes me at the moment, if we want something longer.
Little Pine is roughly 12 miles up a fire road and 8 miles back down. Snyder is 5 up and 3 down, I seem to recall, and the Angostura ride is about the same as Little Pine. They are all non-technical ascents on fireroads (but with a fair amount of steepness in sections) and a mix of technical and buffed singletrack on the way back down. None are crazy downhill race-style singletracks with huge jumps and drops and such They are definitely cross country rides, unless things have changed dramatically in the last decade or so, which isn't entirely unlikely. I figure I'll call some local shops before finalizing plans.

Interesting. I've wanted to Mtn bike in Santa Barbara but I couldn't seem to find any trail info. It just seemed like there wasn't any riding or trails posted in the usual online forums, trail info, etc. Maybe I gave up the search too soon.
