So I'm starting a thread on the ride so people can shit talk it...praise it...or just generally...say whatever they'd like....so yeah you wanna talk about the Beach Front Rides say it here. Never been on one you should come.
Beach Front Ride Info.
Every Saturday*
Gather: 9:30Pm
Start: 10PM
Where: Culver High and Coombs Park.
*Their is no Beach Front in observation of Crank-Mas or Crank Mob. Start Times are subject to change during or around the time of mixers.....

Unfortunately we have been planning this ride for ages. I am going to most likely going to be cutting out an event or two to help suppress the negative attention. My ride has never had problems even after the whole clash in may. That Saturday we still rolled and the ride was small but it was fun. If the ride attendance is affected by this fear then I will be sad but I still plan to go out and have fun. I will be more cautious and I will do everything in my power to make sure that those riders who joined my ride to have a good time and that the ride encounters no problems.
LAPD will try to stop us with fear. In this they cannot win.
So I will see you on Saturday. It's going to be a great ride one of the best that I have ever planned by far....

You must be kidding, right? suggesting someone to NOT do a bike ride?
What could possibly be wrong with doing a bike ride...
With the "current situation in the bike world" = we need positive bike rides, where people are respectful, and promoting a good thing!

Is this about people at the beach assaulting/harassing bike riders?
We need good rides. We need to stop jerks from ruining our Bike reputations with illegal activities that are stupid: Littering, vandalizing, lighting fires...
People that do those things are losers, just looking to do crap and blend into a crowd, so they can get away with it.
I feel people need to promote and lead bike rides!

Thanks Gern....
My ride has always been taken down a notch in the serious of it because its been led by trike riders.
I understand that at the current moment things do not look so well so t's point is valid. Anyone who has ridden with me knows how my rides work and knows how chill of a ride it is. I try to promote good riding habits and fun. I am R.B.E and I will do that.

I don't think he's saying "don't do a bike ride". What he is saying is "don't ride on the beach front" in Venice especially. And he's right.

But we aren't riding to Venice.....this Saturday.
That's why I was like huh? We are going to the beach but not via Venice. The logistics for this ride have already been thoroughly worked out and discussed. Minor changes to the ride route have been made. I cannot speak for glow ride but I speak for my own ride when I say that the ride route is fun, is safe and will not put riders at unnecessary risk from the police.

Are you commenting about me or someone else?
No the issue is the police in the area of the Marina have been very harsh. My ride tends to go through say area.
I'm just very stressed out by trying to make a good ride and people posting things that are designed to install fear. Yes we should be afraid of the police, yes we should be cautious about the hazards of riding. No that doesn't mean we should stop riding.
I hope to see many people on Saturday at 5:30PM. I hope that both my ride and Glow ride which my ride will joining will be fun and a susses.

We are not riding Venice..... I just got an e-mail from a freind asking me. Their will be no Venice rides until further notice.

im saying dont ride venice because of what happened on the rwnn last friday.
keep riding and keep it positive. im just looking out for everyone and not looking to make shit worse for no reason. avoid group rides in venice for the time being. that is all.

ooooo okay.....
yah I was already aware of that issue and had some communication with the police about that.
We are only going to the pier for awhile and will restrict ourselves to that.....
