Lots and Lots of Bikes

Okay all the Los Angelopes bikes are up for sale (or free). I just need to get rid of about 100 or so bike frames and other assorted junk that is on the side of my house. We wanted to make a bunch of stuff with it, but i am moving this weekend and have nowhere to store it anymore. I was thinking of getting a storage unit for a month to try to figure out what to do, but in any case it all needs to be gone on Saturday. Anyone have storage? Anyone want all of them? No cherry picking. All or none because i have no time to sort through stuff and it's a giant pile on the side of my house.
Don't ask if i have a certain size or anything like that. It's a bunch of scrap bike frames and wheels and misc. parts. There are no frames or other parts in there worth any money so don't think you are going to score some hidden gem. It's basically stuff that is great for freak bikes. Again, this is over 100 bike frames and assorted wheels and parts (most wheels are garbage and steel).

if i can't figure out what to do, unfortunately they are probably going to a metal scrap guy.

Junu - "No cherry picking. All or none because i have no time to sort through stuff and it's a giant pile on the side of my house. " You've seen it. It's a pain. It has to go as one big lot. Looks like we may have found storage for it.

I thought you were going to use them as payment for helping you move. I will help you move for 5 frames.

Bikerowave can probably take some of those frames off your hands. The only pain would be getting them to the west side.

Bikerowave = DO NOT WANT.
To quote brassknuckle - "There are no frames or other parts in there worth any money so don't think you are going to score some hidden gem. ... most wheels are garbage and steel..."
Bikerowave needs stuff that other people are going to WANT to use on their bikes, we have plenty of unwanted frames and rusty wheels ending up in the Bikerowave's recycle bin already, and with the recession and manufacturing downturn, it's getting harder to get rid of scrap metal.
Thanks for looking out for the Bikerowave though! If anybody has any decent parts that are taking up space, we'll be happy to make sure they get a good home.

excatly. this is scrap for junker bikes and welding projects. a lot of this stuff has come from bike co-ops ridding themselves of garbage. We collected it for tall bikes and other freak bike projects.

I suppose that one day out of the entire year of Built a Bike Day at Bikerowave wouldn't be worth having those extra parts laying around.
I wish that weren't the case. I wish we could put use to most of Dan's parts and continue hosting monthly projects to built freak bikes.

I've been wanting to build a tall bike for awhile but haven't come across crappy-enough frames worth welding together. How can I get in touch with you?

Okay i found a place to store the bikes. As soon as i move and get things organized we can start getting these frames out to people and hosting bike build days again. I may just weld a bunch of them into tall bikes and then pass the welded frames out for people to build up. anyway i'll keep you posted.
