This sounds like a blast. However, this will be my first ride with this group. Would like to get an idea of how fast you go and how flat/hilly the ride is. I just went on a 44 mile up north with some ups and downs and survived. So, I can do this one but not sure of your speed.

depends on the ride you choose, there are many different types of rides, the usual chill party rides, the amazingly fast rides, and everything else in between themed or not.

Normally I wouldn't do such a thing, but tonight I'm especially doing it because I'm afraid I will be there for an hour, waiting at the stop, and only 5 people will show and I'll be left with a bunch of spokecards, route slips, and a broken heart.
