a pool party ride?
My cousin has a house with a pool in NoHo, I live in Hollywood (fountain/normandie area). We can take the train, but that would be too easy..
I say we ride there, have a BBQ and play in the pool.
The house is beer and 420 friendly.
maybe next weekend?

I like your thinking, et; they live right by circuis liquor, there is also a 711 pretty near by and meat markets. if anyone is vegetarian/vegan I can get some veggie burgers from work (Trader Joe's) and put them in an insulated bag with ice and carry them in my backpack. Once we all arrive a few of us can go for a beer run.
now that people actually responded... I'll ask my cousin, LOL. I'm sure it'll be fine because they love having people over/parties.
What days would be good for you guys?

I'm down.. who else has pools in that area? I'm not a big fan of public pools... no drinking or smoking allowed! but I'm still down.

hahaha we're crashing your cousins pool! Excellent. I'm all for getting beer/food over the mountain so we don't have to worry about hauling too much. I'm down for Saturday between 11AM-7PM. Are you/Et al. interested in going to the Funderstorm show? We can come back and meet up at the boat house by 9 to go to the party in dtla?

Let me just clear it up. Had a few parties that got out of hand... so beer/liquor might not be an option. I do have a 90' screen for a projector in which me and friends watch movies and play video games on, kinda like a guerilla drive-in of sorts (bring your own popcorn, of course)

Argh, just checked my schedule and I work this saturday 2-10pm.. Maybe we can do this August 6? First saturday of the month! And I spoke to my cousin, it's cool with him but he's got to talk with the wifey..

I can definitely do Sunday the 15th let me know if I can do anything to assist including the route! Even though I loose all geographical bearings once I go into the valley.

Yeah, Beatles Rockband on a 90' screen. We've got drums, one guitar, the mic... I believe that's it.

You guys would have to combine forces. The projector plays PS3, XBOX and just about anything, so long as it has audio/video components (red, white and yellow plugs).

I don't think you can use PS3 instruments w/the game on XBOX...
