Okay so the other day I was hauling ass through atwater village and suddenly I felt the back of my bike lift up a little when I landed it felt a little akward.so then I stoped and I checked out my rear wheel and it apreared crooked/bent.
What can I do to make it straight again or where can I go?

I dont know how to do it myself yet but youre able to fix it w/ a certain tool that tighten the spokes. For the mean time I take mines to the bike shop that knows what theyre doing, believe it or not some dont

It's called "truing," and any bike shop can do it for you for relatively cheap.
Or go to a bike co-op, and they'll teach you how to do it using their tools. It's not hard, but it takes concentration. You should true your wheels (or have your wheels trued) regularly — it'll keep 'em from folding up irreparably should you run over another bump like that again.
Bike co-ops in Los Angeles, in case your Google is broken:
Bike Kitchen, at Heliotrope and Melrose
Bike Oven, on Figueroa? I forget. And my Google is broken.
BikeRoWave, at Berkeley and Nebraska, in Santa Monica.

Whoah, Avis_One, you've been to a bike shop that can't true wheels?! Holy crap. Don't go there again! Sounds like they don't really know what they're doing.

+1 on the bike collectives (kitchen/oven/bikerowave)
All you need is some time at a truing stand and a spoke wrench and you can learn pretty easily.
Or, you can buy the spoke wrench, turn your bike upside down, use the brake as a guide, and true it wherever.
Sheldonbrown.com probably has a bunch of good info.

Thank you katiepoche!
And besides I think I need to head down to b.k (bicycle kitchen)soon anyways,
I think I need a new pair or pedals since mine aren't really cutting it for me.
