I'm gonna be there with lots of stuff, t-shirts, patches, maybe art stuff...
Yanco is gonna be there with tons of his stuff

The Urban Bicycle Commuter Expo happens on:
Saturday, May 17th
from 10 AM - 5 PM
and includes a street closure on DeLacey St.
Exhibitors from local Pasadena area bike shops, bike manufacturers, accessory manufacturers and local advocacy groups will come together to present the latest bicycles, fashion, and gear emerging from the ultra-hot urban bike commuter scene. Experience how-to workshops on bike maintenance and bike commuting. Entertainment will include live-music from Very Be Careful, a film screening, and an all-day kids bike rodeo presented by Safe Moves.

I'll be coming via Pasadena Critical Mass!!
If anyone is going on the Urban Bicycle Commuter 10 AM bike ride, call me from the ride on my cel phone so that critical mass can catch up with the ride. We roll at 10:30 AM.

I can't even believe how friggin' hot it was. But despite the heat, those two boys in the photo were still moved enough by the event to hug and celebrate the touching beauty of the UBCE. The heat just coulnd't keep them apart for a celebratory embrace.
Alex I think you captured the spirit of UBCE perfectly.
