OCCUPYLA Saturday Oct 1st!

As a cyclist and a pedestrian in Los Angeles I've decided to OCCUPY LA because I'm SICK of hearing from the city and the politicians that there's NO MONEY to implement the mangey BIKE PLAN in less than 35 years while a billion dollars went into widening a few miles of freeway to keep that oil dream alive.
I'm SICK of hearing that there's no federal money to help throw down a decent subway system, while we spent TRILLIONS bombing the shit out of broke people in the middle east for their oil.
I'm SICK of seeing my comrades get run over by drunk hit and run drivers who get off scott free because there's no money for a proper investigation and prosecutors are overwhelmed and broke even IF the perp is caught. Meanwhile our city lets millions of dollar in parking fines and red light tickets go uncollected.
I'm SICK of cops or prosecutors not giving a damn about pedestrians getting hit in crosswalks.
I'm SICK of NIMBY homeowners being able to force lengthy court battles and force EIR's for a stankin bike lane while our politicians trip themselves get Governor Brown to veto EIR due process for a huge traffic nightmare of a stadium in the middle of downtown.
I'm going to OCCUPYLA tomorrow because I heard Rage Against the Machine is playing and that's wassup.
