Hey all,
Just joined the Forum and just moved to LA from Denver recently. The LOL ride last night was my first since moving to LA and it was awesome! I didn't get home till almost 4:30am (mainly cause I got lost) but I'm looking forward to next week...with maybe a few less hills.

Alex, normally LOL is not at all like it was last night. When Rick leads it, he makes a point of being back to the Walgreens at 12:30.

Welcome to LA. I grew up in Denver (age 6-17) and am always excited to meet people from my hometown.

Thanks for coming to check out 818 Bike Polo I'm glad you guys got a chance to play some polo games despite the rain. If anyone is interested in playing some more we have bikes and mallets you can borrow every Friday and Sunday at the roller hockey rink in Noho. (Amelia Earhart park on the corner of Magnolia and Tujunga) Just take the redline to the last stop and you're 3 blocks away.

Sounds like a great idea. I would love to go touring and you have some experience with that (41 Below) . Not sure the tallie or the BMX would make it over vail pass though my VW beetle barely made it out here.
