i'd say that purchase is worth the price considering the fact that the 3 speed fixed gear hubs are around $150 or higher, plus the kilo tt is a reliable track frame.

The Kilo TT is bikesdirect's standard fixie, which is one of the more popular sub-$400 fixed gear bikes out there,and there are all kinds of reviews out there, mostly saying that it's a pretty good bike for the price, with a few cheap bits that probably should be replaced.
The S3X hub is a pretty awesome concept. The only downsides are, apparently, that it's not exactly lightweight, and there's a little bit of play in hub.

I just realised they make a 5 speed freewheel internal hub as well... This may be too good to be true

the hubs are about 100, but thats probably the most expensive thing on the bike.

Yeah I've heard about these hubs. They seem like a good idea, but I've been told that there is a lot of "slop" when riding fixed. It's more like a coaster brake when trying to stop after a lot of miles have been put on the hub.
The only thing stopping the hub from freewheeling are a bunch of tiny pawl (return springs) in the hub. After some hard riding, you can expect those bits of metal to wear out - and hence get really sloppy feeling when riding fixed.
Why not just go 3-speed with a coaster if that's what you're going to be feeling anyway?
The shifters for these are dope though - bar-end!
