D Concert Hall Parking

A story on LAist concerning lack of bike parking at Disney Concert Hall. I've also heard LA Live has inadequate bike parking. I think we should be pushing for a minimum bike parking requirement for buildings like we do with cars, only a couple bike racks costs next to nothing compared to the millions that go into parking lots and garages for cars.

+1
(Though I personally don't have much interest in going to either of those particular places.)

On a different note, Gary, have you noticed that many newer local Metro buses don't have bike racks? What's up with that?

LA Live actually has pretty good bike parking. Enter the parking structure from Olympic, at the bottom of the ramp on the left are a bunch of well placed and well lighted bike racks, some are even these special kind that have an integrated chain for locking your wheels.
Not that I have any interest in going to LA Live either, but we used them when we had free tickets for the Clippers a little while back.

I've gone to the Disney Concert Hall once for a show, but I didn't ride on that occasion so I didn't realize they lack bike parking entirely, even in their garage. It just really irks me when big and important places have zero spaces for bikes.

There actually IS a requirement for bike parking at new development, but somehow LA Live got an exception to this.
