If you can help me find the Los Angeles plans with public transportation for me that isn't as the same as we voted for in Proposition R, plz post on this list.
Yet in my home of San Diego, home of the whale's vagina, it's vaginal juice of urban projects is making me jealous to figure... why does Los Angeles urban projects suck?
If you check out their plan on the SANDAG website, it's comprehensively detailed to know what they want to do. what's surprisingly awesome is more bike highways (the Bayshore Bike Highway from Petco park to Coronado improvements), bike striping and expanded lanes along National City, and improved rail interchanges and new stations for the Coaster.

Yeah I could move there, but I crash at the couches of my relatives nearby the trolley stops so technically, I kinda live there whether it's El Cajon, National City, Miramar, Logan Heights, Golden Hill or Escondido. Still. I'm really impressed with what the neighbors in the south have to offer in full detail with the stimulus package for urban infrastructure improvments.
some highlights I've read so far:
- more coaster stations along Escondido to Del Mar
- bike trails and bike highways. such as the "inland rail trail", I'm guessing a bike route not that far from the sprinter.
- Improving Bike Lanes and Bike Routes in National City.
Disappointments:
- not extending the Green line to Downtown
- no word on the Blue line expansion to University City and it's superloop (From what I hear it's a rapid bus to convert to street car plan)
- no word on extending the Coaster south to Chula Vista or Imperial Beach (but that may be later if it's further extended to i-905 if they plan to open a new border crossing at the Playa de Tijuana).
- No bike boulevard plans along North Hills to Kensington.
I'm going to try to find Los Angeles, but enjoy what the home of the Whale's Vagina is up to for urban planning.

God Los Angeles is Disappointing :(
Leave it to Mayor Ass-garosa to prioritize metropolitan projects to fill up potholes and build more buses. Gawd.
This is the only project I can see as a shining light, the
Light Rail and heavy rail vehicle rebuilding, but that seems vague. Like are they planning to replace the light rail trains only or work on that Downtown Corridor connecting the blue line to the gold line east la extension. I'd prefer the latter of the two.
