spotted: stolen bike

Hey fellow ridazz i posted this bike up a couple months ago as stolen. It was my girlfriends bike that we had custom painted (pruple with pink splatter) and i had welded a chainring in the main triangle and welded a cog on the headtube. A younger kid came into her shop today and said he saw this bike on LACM! So again if anyone see this SUPER FUCKING UNIQUE bike throw your lock on it and call me ASAP.

oh yea aslo the frame is only 50 cm so i wouldnt be afraid of anyone riding it.

sorry- this is not a respond to your stolen bike, but last night i spotted 2 latin guys selling 2 bikes on 6th street and Burlington near the Food 4 Less. it looked pretty shady to me the way they were standing there with the bikes trying to sell them with out looking suspicious. 1 bike was a black road bike w/gears, the other was a bright orange bike single speed, sorry it was a dark corner so i could not see what type of bike they were . its not the first time i see people selling bikes that obviosly do not belong to them for example the bike will be way too big for them or they will be selling a fuji or cannondale. so if anyone is missing a bike taking a trip to 6th Street between Union Ave and Bonnie Brea, may be worth it. hope this helps anyone.

I'm really sorry your bike got stolen, but asking someone other than the police to recover it is the wrong thing to do. No one feels lukewarm about their favorite bicycle, especially one that you put a lot of work into like this one. Ultimately it's just a material possession, and that's not worth it. Even kids are strapped now. You can always build another bike, but your life is priceless.

Strapped with a stolen firearm and riding around on stolen bikes.
This is what continues to happen when the parents are too busy partying their asses off to keep an eye on their kids.
Anywho, best thing to do would be to note locations, follow them from a distance, then direct the proper treatment towards their abode.
Whether it's calling the police or calling in an airstrike, the end result will be a punk-ass kid sitting in a juvenile facility, or regular lock-up and some dumbshit parent making some bogus claim about their kid being an angel.

you, have you ever had a bike stolen? have you ever had a bike stolen that is completely and utterly unique which then reappears a couple months later between some kids legs on a ride? take your shit somewhere else, the cops aren't going to keep their eye out for this bike but my friends will.

Actually, putting a lock (or two) on a suspected stolen bike is an excellent idea. Good luck Larsen, do try to keep a cool head if you catch them.

this is a one of a kind bike
i wouldn't hesitate to put my lock on it if I saw it.
Kids have been "strapped" for years, any that is dumb enough to shoot you in the back for sicking a lock on their stolen bike would be just as likely to shoot you for no reason at all.
Its a possibility but much less likely than getting creamed by a bus or, eaten by a shark.

thieves are usually cowards and children. that's why they arent committing real crimes.
besides, the person who stole probably sold it to some unsuspecting kid.

I saw this thing on saturday around 7-8pm, a girl was riding it down jefferson eastbound a bit before lacienega, i noticed it immediately because of the welded chainring. So im asuming its still in the westside. I didn't have time to react since i was on foot, and remembered a quick 5 seconds after seeing it =(
