arizona border ride(fubar ride)
I am considering a ride from the santa monica pier or other central location to the Arizona border and back.date sometime in march or april 2010 and need people who are down. i have a route and will make it a 3 day there 1 day hotel and shower in blythe,ca 3-4 day back allowing for flats and other bike problems.i am willing to pull a trailer (thanks to THE DUDE) with bike shit and food but need other people to ride(about 15 down motha fucas).list your name here and what you want to do this ride for and how many miles youve done max in one ride(i.e. taco tuesdays termins de estes 81 miles).my route goes up top to big bear so be strong.ask questions here or email me alacazandrATyahooDOTcom with fubar ride in the subject if you need to ask something.to run this ride i will need a $5-$10 donation or as much as you have for hotel accomadations.training rides are happening regularly so check back for info on those.so far we have:

Honestly dude, just looking at your route and got to say something... I rode through the areas youer going through, except your route turns away from some of the funnest parts to go up a mountain (the Big Bear turn), skipping a chance to ride the 10 access road (towards Palm Springs), MISSING A CHANCE TO RIDE THROUGH JOSHUA TREE PARK (!!!), and entirely missing the reward of the trip, a dip in the river. I dont want to be a dick and am not trying to, but I've done this ride. I can send you my route, let me look it up....

Thanks! For sure, Im sure I wont make the arizona ride, but Ill keep checkin post and the rides to see when this Vegas ride will happen, thats one Im not missing for the world! My fiance will be fine for a few while im out riding!

I'll have to say possibly April, though this all depends on how the usual issues are going to work themselves out.
As far as road-training, I've already been good to go in that area, now I just need to get myself a comfy, new saddle to reduce any pain on the ass.

Hell ya any early training would be great, I spend my my time in parking lots or on my emotion rollers or rear mount trainer, so id love to get on the street and do some training, when and where you guys gonna be meeting up for it?

ey man id be up for it, im tryin to get in as much training as i can get in before you cats pull out, and i might just keep the training route while you guys are heading to az, for the vegas ride. Either way im going to be there for not only the training but the Vegas ride if it goes down!!!!!!!!!

so as the training ride date gets closer i wanted to remind those coming that i am doing a 60 mile ride and it will go from hollywood to glendale through the vally to the malibu beach,down to santa monica and back up to the start at hollywood/vine red line station!
it starts at 400 and leaves at 5:30 sharp so dont be late!!!!!!

Louisiana I was out of town. For training rides your group and team midnightridazz should combined. Were all training for distance. I'm sitting in Sedona Arizona right now. Damn. Riding to Arizona ain't gonna be nearly as amazing as riding on Arizona. But they're two different animals. I'll keep you posted on tmr rides. We might be able to recruit more az ridas from there.
