Hey ya'lls, I've been to this event the past two years and it is mind blowing. This is vancouver's biggest bike event of the year. Absolutely amazing and not to be missed.

I know it's a long ways from LA, so start riding now!

Our Community Bikes and PEDAL Play
Present
A Celebration of Bike Arts and Culture
Performances by the Sprockettes, B:C:Clettes, and BRAKES.

All your favourite DJs play while you Pedal the Music on the PEDAL
Powered Sound System. Slurp a freshly PEDAL Blended smoothy.
Enjoy a ride in the PEDALing Zoo. Get a free bike check and
performance tips from the staff at Our Community Bikes. Hey Fixy!
Exhibitions and Competition. Bike Craft presents bike inspired fashion
and crafts. BLIM brings us buttons and stickers

Pedal Fest Sept 22, Main Street and 17th noon til 6pm

Supported by the City of Vancouver Celebrations Grants.

Pedal Fest is a chance for us to show our talents and passions to a
broader audience, the alcofueled mayhem of CarcASS rages in the park
while we entertain the families and good people of Vancouver on 17th
and Main with Our Community Bikes!

Don't worry events will be timed so you don't miss any of the action!


VeloMutation, Vancouver's premier Biker party will not disappoint.
Sept 22, 9pm til l8r

Performances by Velo-Vixens, Brakes, the BC Clettes, and the
Sprockettes start our evening. Fire Performance led by Glenna G.
Flygirl of the Apocalypse. Three stages, two rooms of sound with Djs,
Timothy Wisdom, XBen, Captain Crunk and the Pirate Booty Crew and
Robin Bank$. Roving performers and spontaneous acts of random party
madness. Days spent on creating a unique environment (we clean the
shop up, sweep the floor).

Entry by donation, a fundraiser for Pedal Play.


The weekend looks like this sort of at present:

Thursday:
Bike shop opening and street fixed races.

Friday:
Bike Porn with Rev Phil
Alley Kitten
Party somewhere

Saturday:
Carcass
Pedal Fest
Gday mate Street race

Not gonna be able to make it this year, but definitely something to think about next time around...

He comes back tomorrow. If I hadn't blown all my cash on the last trip - I'd be up there.
