It's cold and windy here in the dumpsert, so it's a mighty possibility.
Closure through venting.

Todays CRANKMOB was Really good.
Thank you Richie, and guy pulling the sounds system, and everybody else. Despite all the stealing and drunk high school kids. It is always good. I had fun, like always. But, Chynna didn't come so. She was the first death of GangWars,,, RIP> Thankyou Javi for the ride. And it was good seeing Berni again.

JB fight that ticket! I saw you guys sitting on the curb there, and was suprised to see YOU in that group.
but that ticket, it's bs and easy to defeat. you know it is, hell the dumbass cops probably do to, they're just harassing. as to the other thing in your blog, about bike confiscation, they have no legal pretense to do so (particularly for a traffic violation), and are probably making shit up to scare you guys.
(cops do THAT all the time (like threatening to arrest people 90% of the time)). Hell, they can't even seem to read their own memos that the public is aware of (see thread about bike license / cuffing), never mind something they havent implemented yet.but yeah, fight that shit. don't let them win their little game. that citation has NOTHING to do with any situation you were in, and you cannot be a pedestrian on a bicycle.
Also if you have that girl who the cop doored, have her complain to the watch commander. dooring is a potentially lethal tactic! Hell, you may want to complain, about harassment, considering the outlandish citation you got.

A bit off topic, but......I can dream.
It would be rad to ride a bike that was so massive and buff, that if you were doored, you would take the door off.

About 1,000 bicyclists jammed the streets of Hollywood early Sunday, causing disruptions to traffic.
About 1,000 bicyclists jammed the streets of Hollywood overnight, causing disruptions to traffic, police said.
The bicyclists rode through red lights and "stampeded like a herd of wild buffalo," said the watch commander at the Los Angeles Police Department's Hollywood Station.
No arrests were made. Though no injuries were reported, he said the late-night riders were dangerous and someone would eventually get hurt.
Similar problems were reported earlier around Third Street and La Brea Avenue.

you missed the best part of the post, JB:
"The riders were believed to be part of a Critical Mass ride, which, according to Critical-Mass.info, is a "monthly bicycle ride to celebrate cycling and to assert cyclists' right to the road."
According to the site, Critical Mass has no leaders and no central organization, it is not an organization, but rather, an idea and an event."
C.R.A.N.K. MOB = CRITICAL MASS ???

"stampeded like a herd of wild buffalo,"
Funny.
Nine months ago we were described as a "Mongol Horde".
I rather be a Mongol horde than a herd of wild buffalo.
CRANK MOB!

Good catch hondink!
I hit the print view to cut and paste more easily, and they left that paragraph out of that version, which was the funniest part of the article.
