Sunday February 22 at 6pm come for some donuts and coffee and to strategize and plan and do bike projects on our own . Im tired of hearing people talk about change and shit happens. We have an army of bikers why not initiallize them and get stuff done on our own. Raise our own funding if we have none, make our own sharrows, paint curbs red so that bikes can fit on the street plus all your ideas on how to infiltrate the city and bring down people that dont help us but are assigned to positions of power. So we’ll talk, assign assignments and go out paint a sharrow or a bike lane somewhere in the second half of the meeting.Let’s group up to get more done. Every 3rd sunday at 6pm tentatively we’ll be able to get more done and really get organized

What about the city meetings that are announced, and rides are organized to go to? And the L.A. Bike Coalition? And C.I.C.L.E.? These groups are all getting things done. Change does not happen overnight. Keep moving, but do not discount the dedicated efforts of many. : )

have you gone to all that stuff. I have and bicyclist look so disorganized. seriously that is why organized crime is on another lever because of the word organized. I dont want to take it that far but the Black Panthers were started because they wanted a stop sign , kids kept getting killed on a bike on this street corner. There is legitamate things that have to be done and we need a place to organize. We at this point have to sue for not counting bicycles as transportation, that is why we dont get funding. That fundamental language is why LA is what it is. but we can change that. From going to all these meetings you realize what people could do and what is lacking. Oh at the Bike Oven 3706 Figueroa highland Park

seriously no fighting at the oven it's not like that. You've got to be asleep to realize that cycling has been the same and constant in the city as it was five years ago and all the focus is on the bike path on the river which doesnt help anybody who rides for transportation. Every one is really blind to the realities that exist when it comes to bikes. I love cars dont get me wrong but theres got to be a place for bikes , in the city atleast.

Okay I've thought about it and I think donuts is too cheap so I will try to have it be diner. A sort of invite to bike ifrastructure organization. Some pasto pasta and bring wine or whatever you want to drink. There will be a large table and we'll try to get as much done. It's about accomplishing something realistic and infiltrating the goverment at various levels. The possibilities have always been here , Im tired in living the possibilities. I acknowledge all the groups that do represent bicyclist but we can do a lot on our own and we should just too show how efficient we can be. It is bigger than me. So all those that lack meaning in their lives and have friends that fear for their lives to ride bikes on the street should come. 6ish at the oven after the earth first thing

you totally lost me there. I'm sticking with the LACBC and my own personal u-lock for my bike advocacy.
