I recently used Astro Powdercoating/ Plating (818-768-6535). They're in North Hollywood. They did my frame & fork and a friend's bmx at same time, same colour, $175 total. They both came out nice. Just don't use them for chrome plating, my chrome is flaking anywhere it gets hit or nut tightened on. Send anything for chrome out of state where emission laws are lighter, like Oklahoma. Good luck.

Astro ruined my stuff, they have new owners who dont care about there work. best place is ajax in van nuys. they are cheapest because they do bulk orders, get some friends or parts together. A+ work they powder for many bike manufactures.

I'm trying to find an economic powder coat too. I have yet to, but I thought I'd let people know about Kenny Sandblasting. They are located in El Monte and I've had BMX frames blasted for a little as $15. the turn around is usually 24-48 hours.
You will probably have to call information for their number.

use olympic, they are located in santa ana but out of the hundreds of parts and frames i have done they are the best in the LA area plus they are fast and cheaper with a huge amount of colors.
Orange 20 deals with olympic as well for all their projects.
