I was just wondering if anyone has any old pedals or straps they would be willing to sell at the meet up spot for RIDE WITH NO NAME tomorrow. if so let a brotha know

these are old in the sense that i bought them a few months ago and decided that clipless was better. im selling them for $150. brand new the whole setup would be $180+tax.
black mks sylvans
black mks fit-a doubles
mks toe clips
and grey yanco veloblinds.
its a legit setup, and it feels like a vagina for your feet, or whatever the cool kids are saying these days. but ive got a size 16 shoe and my feet just cant handle pedals like this.

Dude, you ought to be able to find some basic MTB toeclips/straps for $15-25 at one of the local shops.

They may not be vaginas for your feet, but they'll work just fine.
L.A. Bicycles down on Hoover near USC usually has some good deals on stuff as well.

Actually, wellgo's the largest pedal company in the world, so you save $ by buying straight from them and cutting out all the middlemen.
Yes, if you're road racing, they're probably not the first choice, but if you're looking for a set of reasonably solid, reasonably durable, affordable pedals, they're not a bad choice.
There are a world of options before you need to spend $150 on a pair of pedals and some toe clips and straps.
Especially given that you can buy brand new MKS Sylvan pedals for $23 a pair,

Nylon is plenty strong, and given that a good portion of this board is vegan, they might prefer something non-leather.
But leather toe straps can be cheap too, here's a set for $4.99.

Did you even pay the $150 you're trying to sell them used for?
I may be out of my element, but I'm not the one trying to sell a set of pedals for $150 because I overpaid for toe straps.

all you do is post links to things on this site that are shitty knockoffs of the real thing. you post about the kilo tt a lot. yeah, its a good bike. but how come you never tell people to take the bike to a shop once they get it to get the lockring tightened? chances are they arent shelling out the extra $50 for the front brake. and even if they did, stripping a hub while riding is a scary feeling. yeah, youre saving money, but when those parts fail, youre putting your life on the line. the old adage goes something like "buy nice or buy twice".
