okay so i recently purchased a citizen chrome bag and it's awesome!i have no cons with it and all pros.but i onnly have one flaw i don't like about the bag,as you can see in the picture the extra strap hanging around,i was woundering if there's some secret or creative way to fasten this up so it dosn't flop around.

That picture doesn't help very much. It doesn't come with a cross strap? If not, then that is what you need.

I use a Velcro strap to keep it in line...

I think the velcro tape idea will work since half the bag is covered in velcro already haha

Yeah I hate that too.
It's just kind of a DESIGN FAIL on their part. I just keep tucking it in, cuz if you shorten the strap, when you need to loosen it to take the bag off, you have to make that strap long again, which is stupid, and takes too long.

I just put it through the metal loop thingy.

tucking the strap in is dangerous because i can fall out and get caught in your wheel or something and then youre on the ground with a smashed front wheel and bent frame ala bbd on the rwnn.
im only going to do this one, so pay attention.
any questions?

Yep, RBI's solution is the only way to do it (since that's how the slack mechanism was designed). To loosen that platic thing takes less than a second, and maybe 1-2 seconds to re-collect all the slack before you cinch it down again.
You can usually find a a comfortable middle ground where you're not having to mess with it each time you take the bag off, but it's also not bouncing off your top-tube.

I tuck it in, but it's a pain in the ass sometimes because it'll be tucked in and I'll try to loosen it, and since it's tucked in it makes the strap go crooked.

so you spent $200 on a bag, but didnt know how to properly use it, and when shown how to properly use it, you went out and spent more money trying to fix your problem?
