what does that word mean? is it gibberish for "want food now?"
Middle of the night valley food can be found at que ricos, or the thai place on sherman way called....Suam something? I don't remember, but it's good. Or, there's always the market. Why isn't there a 24-hour pizza joint, is what i want to know!

I know this isn't the valley, but HK market on 1st and Western. After 9pm all their fresh-daily stuff is half-off. That's $3 for a GIANT container of jajang. You'll have to provide the bap or myeun!

AAHHHHHHHHHHHH SHIITITITIT MUTHAFUCKA!!!
so you want some black pastey, noodley goodness from the valley huh?
well here's the thing, you're not going to find anything as quality compared to place in k town.
but for a quick fix, check korean supermarkets with deli's and
"fast food" areas.
the one closest by me (gallerian market on devonshire and reseda) has a pretty legit deli/sit down section and they have what your looking for along with all other types of korean goodies.
Al,
you live closer to burbank right?
i believe there are about 3 or 4 korean grocers around that area and glendale.
check them out and if they have a deli, i guarantee you that they have a jajangmyeon cart.
good luck man and let me know if you find any bc i've been having a hankering for that too.

+ 1 million @ junu
that's a quick alternative if you cant find a real cart/booth.
all korean grocers have like this cold section usually by the butcher or fish.
kinda by where they store kimchi.
you can find the jajang sauce packets with meat and veggies already in it.
heat it like junu said and drench over rice.
you might be able to find fresh noodles somewhere are there too but im not too sure about that one.

Jajangmyeon (also spelled jjajangmyeon) is a Korean dish, derived from the Chinese dish zhajiang mian. It consists of wheat noodles topped with a thick sauce made of chunjang (a salty black soybean paste), diced meat and vegetables, and sometimes also seafood. Jajang (also spelled jjajang), name of the sauce, is the Korean pronunciation of the Chinese characters 炸醬, which literally means "fried sauce." Myeon (also spelled myun) means "noodle."
This stuff is killer, especially after a hard night of drinking.
