best brake pressure

I wanna skid and track stand on my geared bike.
what pressure you guys use?
no ceriously, i wanna be cool.
i hate waiting at for the light with my foot down

a) you dont need brakes to do a freewheel trackstand, surface is more important, and hip control.
i usually keep a 1-3mm distance between my rim and brake pad

lol i remember when people used to ask how to 'skid without a fixie'.
and then there's the more entertaining : "how do you install a locking on a geared bike?"

My rear brake grips my rim a bit too well. It takes no effort for it to lock the rear wheel and make me skid, which kind of sucks when I need to stop quickly and happen to grab both brakes.

Hyperglide cassettes have lockrings. :O
