Well yesterday was my first ride. I feel so accomplished, it was an amazing experience! I show up, I don't know anyone, I ride by myself, & then I stumble across Renee & Luis. They stuck with me the whole way. I truthfully know I wouldn't have managed going through with the hills if it wasn't for them. Many thanks you go out to you two!
Not only that but I got to meet some real cool people: Dan, Neal, Tomatoes, Nicole, Coco, Barleye, Zombies GotMytongue, and others too. We were all having out by the lake in Echo Park. Thanks everyone.
I just wanted to share my joy with you guys, & let you know that I am grateful to have had such a wonderful first ride.

Congratulations on your first ride.
I was there, at the park, but I didn't meet you.
I'll blame Louis, because he's a dummy.

It was really great meeting you too....Remember to get good lights for the front and back. They'll make a huge difference in the dark.

Ahh, Laila, I'm so proud of you. LACM was my first ride also, but I still feel retarded as fuck till this day because I didn't finish. :( No one waited for me.
Good job though!

LACM was unfortunately faster than normal. Did a lot of people get dropped?
& Also, some cops unlawfully enforced the law.

wow, that sucks that this LACM was your first one.
the prior ones were 100 times better. Hopefully, you'll show up to the next one and it will be as good as they used to be.

She wasn't part of any of the craziness on the ride...After the ghost bike memorial, she joined a bunch of us at echo park lake for tomatoes' birthday. We saw LACM ride north on glendale.

yeah for sure ill get some lights.
any good shops you would recommend?
I live by the Downtown Area.
And LACM wasn't bad at all.
I had a really good time, honest.
I felt welcomed by everyone that I was with in Echo Park.
& I saw Alfredo, but I was too shy to say hello.
ha ha ha.

for a headlight, cat eye makes good lights. it's up to you though....on your next night ride, don't be afraid to approach someone and inquire about their light if you think it's bright. hope this info helps.
