Meet at North Hollywood Metro Station
11am, leave at 11:30am
The Valley sun will be beating down on you emptying your will to carry on. The climbs will taunt you to turn around, and the pace will pummel what's left in that dried up raisin your body has been reduced to... but that's what this ride is all about.
It's the Bicykillers Metric Meltdown. 60+ miles of sweaty ass attacking, climbing and descending in the middle of a summer day. Have you ever ridden naked? You may actually consider it halfway through this ride. Maybe you could even wear leg/arm warmers only and even up that ugly ass tanline you've managed to get?
Come prepared, it'll be hot as shit! Lotsa water and suntan lotion! There will be minimal stops to regroup and refill water bottles and such.
Swimming at the pool afterwards along with some food and beer.
I am really looking forward to this ride. We have a great route and we will definately be hanging out afterwards to party down. Pool, food, beer and festivities to follow.
does the nose on that saddle look a little low to you? It looks a little low to me. jesus I've been riding with my saddle pointed down this whole time. how embarrassing! fail fail fail
eh??? Ride, suck wheels, hang out, drink beer, eat til we puke, give cars the finger, wake and bake, did I say drink beer. All things we will be doing on Sunday.

Yo man, don't be so hard on yourself. It doesn't matter who's fault it was, nobody was seriously hurt so that's what matters. It could have been way worse but wasn't. Seriously, don't worry. Parts are replaceable and skin grows back!
No matter what happened, it was MY fault for being too close to him in traffic and in the middle of an intersection. Ultimately, I am the only one responsible for my own front wheel. Do not feel bad, Alfredo. No matter what, it was MY fault. Please do not feel bad, it was MY fault. I feel terrible to say the least, but hopefully the bike will be easily repaired and thankfully all riders involved are still alive to ride another day. A humbling experience for me, to say the least.
