What should I do?
So im riding along yesterday, and my friend is trying to mash on me. I step it up and hear a loud pop sound. As I am riding brakeless I do not stop right away, but rather look down to see myt left crank arm is no longer spinning. After a little break, We head back. I decide since it's pretty far, maybe i will use my one working side to pedal. After a few revolutions the axle on the bottom bracket completely snaps in half and the whole crank flys off.
Ive already contacted FSA and got no response. What should I do?

blog about it, send them letters, spread rumors all over the internet.
if you bitch enough they might care.

is there a reason why FSA should care?
like is there supposed to be a lifetime guarantee or soemthing?
if its some sorta manufacturing defect and you just bought it, they may help you out.

about how often should you check the allen-heads that hold it together on either side?

Full Suck Ahead!
Luckily a new decent BB isn't that much. Just due it.
As an aside, isn't stressing out cranks and BB just a part of riding brakeless? I try to always stop without a handbrake and it just seems like you're putting the dropouts, BB, axles, and cranks through a lot.

FSA is a good company you just need a new bb. it was probably loose and you shouldn't have ridden on it....

I wasn't slagging FSA, BTW, I use some of their stuff and it's worked pretty well.

I have see all types of complaints about FSA all over the net, and any company that tells people to be sure your crank bolts are tight before every ride not only is producing a bad product, but asking for trouble.
If a normal cyclists takes an Hex key to his cranks before every ride, sooner or later he is going to over tighten the bolts, and stretch the cranks and the poof loose cranks.
After seeing all questions on the net about "my FSA cranks became looses, what do I do?" I would never buy anything FSA.
People in shops are still saying FSA is good, but I think their days are numbered if they don't change something.

all cranks become loose, you should check it when you clean your bike once a week or even once every two weeks, these things happen when people go for months and months without even checking it
