I hate sitting behind a computer all day and love my bike....

I was thinking of getting a job as a bike messenger and was hoping some of you guys could give me some feedback....

What are the hours like?
What should I expect as far as pay?
How in shape should I be?

8 hours a day, 9 to 10 dollars is good starting point.As long as your fast on a bike and dont get tired that easily im preaty sure stuff will work out with the dispatchers.Try Going to First Legal they always hire there but they pay by commision % per run.Ace Messengers are always hiring whenever they Fire People there.WorldWide Network is probly full of bikers but it wouldnt hurt to try.Just go to downtown los angeles and go kick back the fellow drunk messengers in Downtown, and sooner or later word will get on the street that there are positions availabel here and there and just go aply theyll hire you in time.

i would love to bike messenge (or at least try it) but there arent any places that do this where i live. its a bummer.
