Guy's (and Girls) I really need your advice, I just bent my 1969 Schwinn Varsity's Handlebar =(, Any Ideas?

how are they different than other plain round drop bars?

buy a new bike. 40 years is too old, no handlebars will work with it.

call Manny's bike shop on Lincoln Blvd. in Venice. He deals in vintage Schwinn bikes. He has many tandems as well.

2nd'd mannys. They have a whole slew of handlebars, an entire wall dedicated to them i believe.

i believe the part that connects to the stem is thinner than modern bars. you might have a little trouble tracking one down. i'd recommend the bike kitchen, bikerowave or the bike oven. whenever an old pair of bars come in, they usually end up hanging around for a long time.
