Basically they are threatening to cut spending for public low-income HIV/AIDS health care programs and other public programs aimed at treatment, testing, and education.

Public Transportation Directions:

There is limited street parking around the protest site. We encourage everyone attending to take advantage ofthe following transportation options:

* Take the Metro Red Line to the Vermont/Santa Monica Boulevard stop @1015 N. Vermont Av – cost: $1.25 one-way

Transfer to the Metro Local Line 4 going west on Santa Monica Boulevard to the Van Ness stop. The bus departs every 15 minutes for a 15 minute ride to the protest area – cost: $1.25 one-way

* Transfer to the Hollywood Dash going west to the Van Ness stop and walk south to Santa Monica Monica Boulevard. The bus departs regularly for at 15 – 30 minute ride to the protest area – cost: $.25
