need help frame question

does republic bikes have good frames

my specialized frame is about to fall apart on
me looking into buying a new complete bike

does anyone have a complete bike for sale

Republic Bikes are crap.

Bikesdirect.com sells complete new bikes (especially fixies) pretty cheaply, and their sister site bikeisland.com sells frames fairly cheaply.

What do you mean your frame is about to fall apart? Is it dented or cracked?

i wouldn't say they are crap, but i agree bikesdirect has better offerings. the republic frame is hi-tensile steel which is heavier than chromoly steel. so it'll just be heavier/bulkier and maybe the ride won't be as "smooth".
