LA to SB

The best bike ride ever.....I made it to Oxnard and got lost.... then said fuck it train time. Going PCH is the shit...i got the are you riding fixed question tons of times. I learned two things from this ride ..... Iwant a roadbike and all those times people say your old injures come back to get you..... yeah at 24 ... i feel like and man.....

Yeah, Oxnard it a little tricky, but its a really nice ride up to Santa Barbara from there. For several miles north of Ventura, the bike trail is on the freeway.
The train station in Oxnard is a little hard to find as well.

when i rode down pch fixed i had the same feeling, i needed a rode bike and now i do :)

The ride gets tricky around Oxnard as well as between Ventura and Santa Barbara, I have route slips if you're interested in doing it again.
Also, it's generally easier going Santa Barbara to LA because you have the wind working for you. Try catching a morning train into Santa Barbara and riding to LA instead.

Where's the fun in that? :P haha.... JK I wouldn't mind doing it either way UP to SB or DOWN to LA...

a group of us did the entire ride from Santa Monica pier to Santa Barbara harbor over the weekend. i did it fixed and it was fucking amazing. the head winds were pretty annoying and bugged my eyes but all in all the ride was way worth it. i would be stoked to ride from sb to la or la to sd.

SB to LA at night under a full moon was one of my favorite rides ever. I recommend it.
