48 miles of scouting for a 23 mile route. My legs are tired, but not the rest of me.
Also of note: the assumption that I don't need a map because I'll be able to orient myself using the moon and my wits doesn't work so well in heavy fog. Whether this represents a failure of the moon or my wits is a matter of some dispute, but the resulting route is an undeniable win. Getting well and truly lost may be the best thing to happen to bike riding since the banana was invented.

i cannot sleep, i have no bike with me and i am in central Virginia. the trifecta of doom.
people don't really ride around here finding used bikes is proving to be unfruitful.
everybody is asleep the town doesn't really start until 9-10am and its 5:50est.
i guess half of this post goes under "i am bored" as well
