Somebody stole my saddle, and my crankbrothers pump, and my saddlebag with a leatherman, tire lever, and a new tube inside it; a nice tail light, and a nice but thoroughly used head light. Also some pedals with toe clips and a brand new rear-wheel rack. Oh yeah, there was a bike too, but it was a piece of junk and I've already found a better one for less money than I paid for the one that got stolen. I'd love to have my accessories back, though.
I don't know what kind of bag he has but the little Jandd seat bag will hold that. You just have to pack it tightly. I'm sorry to hear your stuff got stolen. My current strategy for discouraging theft is making my bike look like nothing anyone would want to steal. Only a real bike geek with a keen eye would find my city bike worth stealing. I also try to take anything easily jackable (pump, bags, qr's) with me. I can't believe someone would just sit take all that stuff off your bike. Karma is a bitch though.

Yup I do the same thing whenever i have tyo park my bike.
I take everything off that I dont want stolen.
As for the bike itself,It's lojacked hehehe.

It happened sometime yesterday at school. (csun music building)
And in case you missed it, the bike got stolen, too. Above I was trying to make a joke about the fact that my (former) bike is a piece of junk and I value the accessories more than the bike. My crank bros. pump and my specialized saddle have been extremely faithful companions for the past however many years.
It was my own stupid fault, though. Yesterday I forgot my good lock, and I figured (wrongly) that it wouldn't hurt for one day to use my spindly little lock that is always on my frame. Figured wrong.
On the bright side I found a way better bike for only 80 bucks. It needs a little TLC, but the breaks work great and the wheels are straight, which means I might be able to hit up a hustle or two in the near future.
