MOM keeps track of your station’s entire Music Library.
- MOM stores your Music Library by category (as many categories
as you want).
- MOM randomly rotates the songs picked from each song category.
- MOM lets you easily add songs, remove songs, move them from
one category to another, and change a song’s position in the play order.
- MOM prints out your Music Library whenever you wish, in
any order you want.
MOM creates daily Music Logs according to your programming
instructions.
- MOM maintains Horizontal Separation of songs — this
prevents your listeners from hearing the same song at the same time of day, up to four
days in a row.
- MOM maintains Vertical Separation of artists — this
prevents an artist from playing multiple times in your chosen time period. You select from
0 to 999 minutes (16.65 hours) of separation.
- MOM maintains your custom separation of artists and songs. For
example:
- Don’t play female artists back-to-back
- Don’t play a fast song after a ballad
- Don’t play more than three ’60s era songs in a row
- Don't play a ballad within 35 minutes of
playing a ballad
- MOM can prevent any song from following a stopset or other
non-musical element.
- MOM can prevent two songs from the same CD from playing
back-to-back.
- MOM will daypart your music, i.e., to prohibit any particular
song from playing during any one or more Hour Clocks.
MOM prints out any number customizable formats of the daily Music
Logs for you and your staff to use. MOM allows you to make changes to your Music Logs
before you print them — e.g., to insert a special "mystery" song or even a
whole ball game. These changes will be reflected in your music history.
And the most important thing MOM
will do is save you money and time.
If you are programming by hand,
MOM will give you an hour or more per day to be more productive with your
business and if you are already programming with a computer MOM will get you out
from those monthly lease fees you're tired of paying!
This demo version of MOM is fully functional except for the
following restrictions:
Music Logs will only print the 12:00 and 6:00 hours of your
Music Schedule. (Even in the demo, however, you can always view the entire log on-screen.)
This MOM demo will occasionally reset your Log Format
Definitions, Library Printout Definitions and Log Reject Order rules to their default
settings. This will happen occasionally.
MOM will run on any IBM or compatible system running DOS
Version 3.3 or above, Windows 3.1, Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows NT or Windows
2000. We recommend a
386 or higher processor, although MOM has been run successfully (albeit slowly) on 286
machines.
Kind of old news! MOM will run on
any modern PC running DOS or any version of Windows.
MOM currently creates export files for Digilink,
Wavestation, DRS 2006, OTS Juke, Raduga, WinAmp, Air Control, Maestro, Audio
Vault, Dalet Automation and Scott Systems. If your automation system cannot use
one of these formats we will be more than happy to add your automation system to
MOM. (assuming the information we need to do this is available)
