Ride To San Diego

I was thinking of having a ride go to San Diego in upcoming weeks. But I haven't really finalized a good plan?? Any ideas??

I'm down. We should do one of the many routes posted on the forum and round up a nice group of people. I say we go all the way there then spend the night and come back riding or via train. A hotel will be cheap if we all pitch in and I can also get a discount. We could also try going on like Thursday or something and hang out with the Cretins for the weekend!

Yeah we could ride there and back (if we're crazy) or ride there and take the train back. Or even ride there and ride back half way, spend a night, and ride the next day. Or ride there and drive back. It's all up to what you wanna do... I'm down to help plan it.

Once you get to Long Beach, you pretty much can take the PCH the whole way there.

helmeted/ street legal ridazz can pass through camp pendleton

Well I always wear a helmet so I'm pretty much safe. I don't about other people tho Does everyone have to wear a helmet?

You'll need to be sporting a brain bucket and government issued photo ID to ride on the base. Sometimes they ask for the ID, sometimes they don't.
Otherwise, its five miles on the freeway. I helped fix a flat on that stretch, and it wasn't any fun.

I wouldn't follow Padoucha to San Diego. He is probably going to get lost and end up in Mexico.

Dude Mexico City is 1500 miles from LA as the crow flies, so more like 1700 to 1800 miles by road. You are going to do 250 miles a day?
