im new to riding and the used bike i bought wont change gears. does anybody know of a cheap bike repair shop in noho or some place where i could get some help. its a mongoose omnicron st 21 speed.

 the cheapest repair place i know of is atomic cycles in the van nuys area.

u could go check out the bike kitchen and do it urself with some help for a lesser fee/donation but van nuys maybe closer.

 In North Hollywood there is Metropolis Bikes on Lankershim. Not sure how cheap they are, but I bought a few bikes from them and seem like good people.

 Yeah head over to the Bike Factory on Woodman and Burbank, guy is way chill, doesn't charge much.
