Oh and I never said 20, I said 9 and I was short, it's 12.75 mi to the first stoplight at the bottom of the hill.

oh and dont trust the elevation marker, there is NO climbing on that (it claims there is some at mile 3, the counter is just reading the ditch off the side of the road... where it drops several hundred feet.

Well, these people drive like dicks and this is the outcome of their action.
I don't see how snickering at such a small level will hurt me.
And besides, you're further up the intellectual food-chain than those losers, why even defend them?

When I was a kid, if I said to my mom "I'm bored", she'd say "well, there's a lot of cleaning to do!" and I'd groan and walk away.
Now, when I'm bored, I clean the apartment... and feel pretty good afterwards. Where the hell was I going with this?

I notice I've still got this used, Specialized Stumpjumper frame in the storage container.
The derailleur hanger is busted and a replacement is hard to come by.
Perhaps I should turn this into a 26" dirt-jumper and try my hand at actual jumping.
