i know at least a few of you do graphic/web design work...or at least make a few too many spoke cards. i also know that at least a few of you wouldn't mind some money.
my old boss needs someone to do a pretty simple email newsletter for her. she has the text written, just needs some pretty graphics and a bit of technical knowledge. she usually comes to me to do this, but i don't have the time/energy at the moment.
the only catch is you have to use the email program she uses (constant contact), so you basically have to do the graphics in photoshop/illustrator, then fit them into the cc templates. if i can find the last one i did i can show you an example.
it's pretty basic stuff, you can do it from home, and she'll pay decent.

I have lots of experience doing email templates with Constant Contact, iContact, and Cooler Email. Typically for email work, I don't design the emails, I just write all the code for them, but I'd be happy to send examples of emails I've coded. However, that's not for lack of design ability, it's just because a lot of fellow design freelancers already have the work done and just need it coded.

it'll involve doing the graphics/design as well. but if that's not a problem i will send her your website in the morning to see what she thinks. will the contact address go straight to you?

Yeah, not a problem at all. Design is actually more my forte, but when it comes to email, typically I'm coding other people's stuff. Contact info on AltPixel goes to me.

actually it depends what coding. i can hold my own in html/css but java? programming coding? oh man. i'm a designer! not a programmer.
