As recent post show the use of bear dick has cause quite a stir if I say so myself.....Here it is post your most disgusting eating experience....Mine was goat testicles, I had no idea they are a delicasy in India...nevertheless I will not indulge myself with the taste of goat genitalia ever again....
I dunno, I think you win with the goat genetalia munchies. But I suppose if I wanna disgust people, pork tongue? Personally I think it's bomb, but everyone else gets automatically grossed out. My mom brews it up in soy sauce, and it gets sliced up so it doesn't even look like tongue. Delish.
being a dirty hippie vegetarian i don't get many opportunities for weird food.
i've had durian, which is pretty weird as far as fruit goes. it had the texture of raw chicken and tasted sweet but garlicy. it definitely wasn't as stinky as i was led to expect, but even outside you could smell it from across the parking lot.
Being of Malaysian descent, I have to deal with that smell and flavor all day.
Terrible as a standalone fruit, but tasty when added to chicken curry, but then again you're Veg, so no go.
The most disgusting thing I ever ate was vegetarian (and could be made vegan), so don't worry, vegetarians.
Natto is fermented soybeans, sometimes eaten with raw quail egg and hot mustard. It looked, smelled, and tasted horrible, but I still ate the whole bowl because I don't like wasting food. (That's not me in the video.)
There are also plenty of other things I like that people think I'm weird for. I LOVE black eggs.
Oh yeah, and there was the time I saw Paula Deen make something she called a "Cheesy Ham and Banana Casserole." I thought that she must be crazy enough to be brilliant, so Ryan and I made the casserole with vegetarian versions of the meats. It included layers of mayonnaise-slathered bread, ham, bacon, eggs, banana slices, cheese, and potato chips. It was nasty.
And then there was the time Ryan found a recipe for vinegar pie and made it. He liked it.
But I REALLY think it's gross when people eat fast food.
Try the Thai dessert place at the Thai Town plaza at Hollywood and Hobart. I don't remember if I've ever seen fresh durian there, but you can get durian candy and other treats there. Actually, I have a big bag of durian candy that I'd be more than happy to bring to a ride and unload on anyone who'll take it, 'cause I think it's nasty.

P.S. You can get black eggs in Thai Town, too. Yum yum!
