On July 21st, 2007 Daft Punk returned to Los Angeles to perform a show at the Los Angeles Sports Arena which totally blew the minds of many, including myself.
Yes, I'm aware they played Coachella in 2006, but that's not in LA...
It had been the first time in 10 years that Daft Punk had performed a live show in LA, and it was epic to say the least.
On Tuesday July 21st, 2009 we shall ride to celebrate the 2 year anniversary of the show.
We will ride from Sunset/Vermont Redline station, down to the Sports Arena, feel the energy which Daft Punk had left us with, and then back to Sunset/Vermont before the last red line train so people can get back home.
This ride meets at 8:00 PM and leaves at 9:00 PM from the front of the elevators at the Sunset/Vermont red line station.
Bring essentials (tubes,lights, tools, anything you need to ride through the night smoothly).
Also, bring music, or even for the cool guys come dressed up like one half of the duo (or even both, if you're creative enough).
This will be a moderate paced ride, with 2 stops (one at the sports arena, and one at a random liquor store or somethin).
