so critical mass just passed by my job and the owners of these bikes are getting harrased.I didnt see them do anything wrong.They just randomly picked them out.
Yeah I just got home from it and the cops were acting like bitches for a bit. I don't know about you guys but I don't want all my tax dollars going to cops harassing bicyclists!!! How about they get there fucking asses in motion and catch some real criminals!!!
yea a helicopter was following us for a good 30mins by larchmont, lost us in the neighborhood streets and then decided to turn on the super bright light of their own.
i saw some more other cyclists being harassed.

A gang of cops were harrasing but other than that tha ride was kool but I think tha peoples ride was way better besides getting split after hollywood n highland ahahaha
I thought it was an a great ride, despite the cops acting like little bitches. Actually, we've decided that there's a point in every large ride where it's just time to leave because the energy's going to change and it stops being fun after that, and we decided that moment was after the two groups met up at Hollywood and Highland and the cops started REALLY moving in on the group, like they wanted to run over some cyclists. But, everything was great until that point, and I LOVED seeing the two groups meet at the Hollywood/Highland intersection.
The only other low point? Punk-ass high schoolers yelling things like "Show us your tits," to women on the street. Those assholes can go fuck themselves. (And I hope it's a loooooooong time before they see their very first, real-life titties because they don't deserve it until they learn to show some respect.)
yeah man, my homie got fucked by the cops for underage drinking at the PR meetup spot. we were all posted (about 7-8 of us) in a circle smoking a blunt and drinking some heinekens directly under the large rite-aid lit-up sign (close to the entrance on hollywood) and out of nowhere a cop pulls in the drive way and parks right in front of us. i sit hoping they're just parking there but a cop gets out of the car and starts walking towards us and half of us book it, a few others got fucked, including my homie. luckily they didn't ticket him though and just called his parents to pick him up (he's 17).
and there wasn't any cop trouble in echo park but about halfway through that atmosphere got totally fucked up... what caused all the hostility and fighting? who said what bullshit?
alright dude, calm the fuck down, yes it's not the smartest thing to be there on the outer part of the group doing that. by saying "fucked by the cops" i mean that he had an altercation with the cops. there's no need to ask me if i'm "stupid", that's obviously instigating shit and that's not necessary at all. dont be a dick. it's not like i didn't think there was a risk, i've just now learned never to be doing that on the outer edge of the group anymore.
and what do you mean "getting shitfaced"? we were drinking our first beer and we both have a really really high weed tolerance. dont assume things man, you really were not there.

Funny thing was to,when they were fucking with those 2 riders they were right in front of our tattoo shop and we blast our radio,my co worker dared me to put cop killer by Ice T,but no one had it in their ipods..instead i bumped this................. AND they didnt like it one bit..
heyyyy thats my bike on the right. so i roll up and stop at a red with a cop to my left. "so why are u riding your bike?" the officer asks me. i reply with :"for excersise..." the cop responds with "i got your excersise right here get on the curb!"
with a megaphone in my bag and a smile on my face im on the sidewalk faced away from the officers...
Officer says rudely " so your the organizer right! are u a midnight riderrr...."
i laugh casually and stay quiet.

they give me a ticket for "not having a front light" funny part about it is that my front light was in the back cuz my back like was stolen the same day.
im let go and casually say "have fun catching real criminals ociffers..."
yeah i saw the whole thing happen i was the dude inside the shop...I also heard the cop randomly tell other riders..you you and you scram! i didnt see you guys do anything wrong..wak!

Between the 17-year-old getting "fucked" by the cops, Bob Marley being blasted out of the tattoo shop, and the cops telling someone they've got his exercise on the curb, this thread made my night. Very entertaining.
That front light ticket should be a "fix it" ticket. Get a front light and take the ticket and your bike down to the CHP station on Western. Show them you fixed it, tell them the light was stolen, and make them sign off on it and clear it from the system.
yeah they said it was a "fix it ticket" but its all bull they just needed an excuse to fuck with the ridazz. all i did was switch my front light that was on the back and put it in the front. im still laughing about it.
