I know I need a bunch of tools to do this, that I don't have....How much will it be if I go to a bike shop...I'm at work right now and I get off at 9pm....Any bike shops open, I want to get this done before RWNN tomorrow....By the way I also need to install the BB....any suggestions...thanks....

No.. you need like 1 special tool, and probably just an allen key and wrench.
Special tool: bottom bracket installer (maybe $10 or so)
Allen key: come on
Wrench to turn bottom bracket tool: come on
Grease: priceless

Got a good deal on a sugino messenger crankset off craigslist for 85bux with BB...not bad since most bike shops sell them for around 120 to 150 without the BB....

Well...if i may offer some really reasonable advice, though I know it will be very very very very hard to understand.
*ahem*
why not ride you bike with the old crank for friday's ride. Then you have a full weekend to upgrade to your Sugino "messenger" crank.
That is, unless you have some messengering to do Friday night, which requires a messenger crank (the cranks messenger use).
Guess what? Then you'll be able to ride (the point of it all)... and make sure you do everything right--dont rush things... might hurt yourself or your bike.
Just a suggestion... im no expert

That is true......Not in a rush....it's just a new toy/upgrade to my bike I got excited....
Anyways I get your point....I'm gonna grease it up good.....the BB that is...thanks

get the spindle real good too. its the most annoying clicking sound you cant find anywhere else on the bike guaranteed!

you talking about where the crank mounts to the BB? assuming its a splined BB, you dont need grease on that part. If youre hearing clicking... then its not because you didnt grease up

this article pretty much tells you all you need to know about your bottom bracket.
http://www.bicycling.com/article/1,6610,s1-5-33-15203-1,00.html
two things I've heard that can go wrong.
"torque to the manufacturer's specifications."
some say not needed, but if it to tight it will eventually lead to the crank falling off, and if its too looses it will lead to your crank arm falling off. either way, if your arm falls off that means the socket the spindle goes into is now warped and useless.
also
"If you have square-taper spindles, clean the spindle with an alcohol-soaked rag before installing the crank arms, but do not grease the spindle. Those with Isis and other spline-type spindles should grease them."

Thanks for all the advice....I will just take my bike to the shop...I dont want my crankarm to fall off when I'm riding....
By the way I got rid of the backpain when I'm riding but now a new problem...One of my knees hurts a bit not much but I want to take care of it...Could it be the seatpost height or saddle position/angle...Will that be a big problem later on...Or should I just drink more milk and less beer...thanks

it could be a lot of things but go see a doc for medical advice. and a mechanical for bike advice. problem solved.
or goto med school and become a certified mechanic.

nah, whats happening is that as you ride your bike, your muscles start to get some use and they get sore.
I suggest you keep riding... and dont worry about your crank falling off (it doesnt take a genius to tighten bolts).
