If you can take a 52cm through 56cm road bike fork, and put it one a 47cm road bike frame?

 do the bikes have the same size wheels?

are the headsets both the same size?

is the steer tube of the fork longer than the head tube of the new bike?

if you answered yes to all these questions than it will most likely work, but you'll just have to test it out. if you answered no, than it will most likely will not work
