HELP...coming home for 2 wks w/o a bike!!!!!!!

my la and nj bikes share a rear wheel, but since i'm hitchhiking cross country back to lost angels, i decided to leave the wheel in nj. which means i won't have a bike for the 2 wks i'm in LA????
DO YOU OR SOMEONE YOU KNOW HAVE AN EXTRA BIKE I COULD BORROW WHILE I'M HOME???
no car and no bike makes my time in la a bit sad.
i'm 6' tall, responsible, caring, sensitive, a little too pale, and can definitely swap some beers or drank or food for a loaner bike.
i live in venice (well, my pops does).
please let me know if you can help out. preferably a fix but anything'll do, right? (i just won't be as hip or fast)
peace

Can you have somebody UPS you your wheel - Its cheaper than buying someone beer- just a thought ,maybe craigslist-but if that dont work i can loan you a fixie rear wheel for a couple weeks.

my bike is locked away...i would have someone ship it to me, but it would be a bit of a pain in the ass for them to get access to backroom of my shop, dig out my bike behind a ton of shit, take off the wheel, box it properly, and then ship it. the shop is closed while i'm away and all my peepz is out of town too. so yeah, it's just easier to borrow.
forgot to mention that i won't be in la till about august 15 or so
could i get a number or something i could reach you at?
peace

maybe there's one with a freewheel at the Bikerowave and you can go single speed instead of fixed for now.

I have a couple of loaner bikes....a Murray 26" BMX (w/ coaster brake and basket) and a single-speed Nishiki Manitoba. They ride hard but they are 0% hip.

@ candy cane:
hey thanks.
@ everyone else:
i forgot that on my last ride in la (crank mob dec. 08), my cottered crank finally split and fell apart. the bottom bracket threading is donezo too. so after thinking about it more, it would be best to just borrow someone's extra...i know that' asking a lot and i should just go out and get my own damn bike, but i'm only visiting la for 2 wks so that really makes no sense either.
remember, mid august. hip is great, but 2 wheels is all that counts.
@anyone who emails me/responds generously to this post:
i will get in touch with you when i get back to la (or am nearing the city) so that we can actually work out specifics....pickup logistics, taste in beer, favorite style of dancing...anyways, muchas gracias.
@ candy cane:
hey, thanks.
again.
