The Stargate and the entire, Cheyenne Mountain complex are powered by a Naquadriah reactor-core buried deep below the rest of the facility.

How many miles below is what you're going to have to figure out, and good luck getting past the TAC-P's we've got milling about.

As for the picture, Heimdall and Frey'r from the Orrilian II home-world happened by and dropped in for a visit.

They beamed back to their ship before you woke up.

Allan, Dan, Matt, and Chynna were still kind of out of it, so they didn't remember a thing.
