HOW TO HTML 4 MRDC NOOBS

Ever wonder how some people magically post
links and shit into their posts?
Its called "
HTML".
Its the computer code that runs all websites. Its can get stupid complicated, but some functions are really easy.
Like some simple formatting things like
Making Text Itallic or
bold
or Inserting a Photo from some place on the web like this:
There is no reason not to start
FUNifying for posts today ... except ....
There is no editing function on MRDC so when you commit. You commit.
One minor typo in your HTML code will mess up the end result and in some cases the entire thread.
So dont be a jackass.
Double check your code, if you make a mess, clean it up.
If you make too many messes that you can't or wont clean up, your ass will get the boot.

I wish I knew how to get it back... I want to embed videos but stupid youtube no longer allows object embed...

not all youtube vids have the option to "use old embed code"

It looks like the main reason some videos can't use the object code is that they're 3-d enabled, which somehow makes them incompatible with the old format. It's not that the videos were even shot in 3d; it's just that the uploader has used the automated 3d conversion option that youtube enabled last year. It's basically a crappy novelty effect that can only be seen by the (still quite few) people who have a 3-d monitor and goggles, and even then, it looks pretty chintzy. But, hey, "progress!"
