I have an old bianchi frame...
I want to make it a single speed....
but it has vertical dropouts..

what do I do?

 Try the chainring you've got with the cog you've got and the chain you've got (and a half link)...maybe you get lucky.

Beyond that, you can use one of those singlespeed conversion kits with a chain tensioner, or an eccentric bottom bracket, or things similar to that which are also probably not worth doing.
